Created in 2000, the Carrefour Foundation is driven by a mission of general interest: to act in favour of the transition to solidarity-based food, in France and throughout the world. This mission is expressed through three programmes, all of which are related to food: the development of sustainable and solidarity-based agriculture, raising awareness of solidarity-based anti-waste and social commitment. With this in mind, the Carrefour Foundation is supporting the launch of the Maison Pédagogique to raise awareness among schoolchildren of the challenges of sustainable food.
